So here we are, the beginning of March 2020, and I haven’t been able to fully restart It’s Delizious. The first two months of the year have been crazy – between continued physical therapy, illness, and a few other outside commitments, I found myself with less time to cook and even less time to take photos, write recipes, and present my dishes to all of you.
Now that the weather is starting to warm up (finally!) and everyone’s spirits are up, I am excited to get back in the kitchen and get down to business. But of course, the best laid plans almost never come to fruition. Now that my cooking brain is ready and raring to go, another wrench is thrown into the plan — and not just a wrench. A wrench, a saw, a hammer – every tool in the toolshed will come out as we begin a full gut renovation of our kitchen. I have to be honest, designing my own kitchen has been a dream of mine and I cannot wait to see it come together, but living through a full renovation with 2 young kids is not going to be easy. There will be lots of eating out, ordering in and air frying — which means not a lot of recipes and cooking to share.
So while we are going through this big renovation, I have decided to temporarily switch the focus of the blog – from my love of cooking to my love of eating. From family friendly restaurants, to romantic date night venues and casual weeknight bars, I am sure we will visit all types of restaurants over the next 4-5 months, and I hope to tell you all about them! I will form a restaurant review section on the blog so if you are looking for a place to eat one night, you can check in and see what we ate, what we drank, what we liked and what we didn’t.
Any must-try restaurants we should put on our list? We love all types and food and are willing to drive! So drop a comment with places you love or want to hear about and we will give them a shot!
I do plan to barge in on my friends from time to time and take over their kitchen, so I hope to have some fun spring/summer recipes to share – so be sure to check in and catch those! If there are any warm weather dishes you want to see, let me know!
Let the eating begin!

Excellent website you have here but I was curious if you knew of any forums that cover the same topics talked about in this article?
I’d really love to be a part of group where I can get feedback from other knowledgeable individuals that
share the same interest. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.
Thanks!

Everything posted made a great deal of sense. However, think
on this, what if you typed a catchier title? I ain’t saying your content is not good,
however what if you added a headline that grabbed people’s attention? I mean Time to
eat! is kinda vanilla. You should peek at Yahoo’s front page and
note how they create news titles to grab
viewers to click. You might add a video or a pic or two to get people excited about
everything’ve got to say. In my opinion, it might make your posts a little
bit more interesting.
